SunPower

Hi. Worked on this quite a few days. Like it but I'm open to critiques. I really wanted to make the petals pop forward. (Reading a fictional thing about Van Gogh and got inspired to paint a sun flower - go figure.)
Ok, ever learning.

    Really great work Karen, love how you gave he painting depth creating a fence and tree behind . Really love it !

    Truly nice depth, great use of edges and beautiful muted palette. My only critic would be the leaf mass directly under the flower as being too similar is size and symmetry.
    But even with that I love it,.. stellar work.

      Thank you Jim. I truly appreciate your comments. That was actually what drew me to painting it, but I see what you mean. Like its a bullets eye in the center. This will make me evaluate my compositions more. Cheers!

    I love it too Karen,there's lots of depth and the petals look amazing and they are the hardest part!
